About Me

Operations, systems,
and a lot of hobbies.

I'm Christopher — the Assistant Manager at FountainGlen Laguna Niguel, a Sares-Regis Group community in South Orange County. I've been in multifamily real estate for five-plus years and I still find the work genuinely interesting. Every day looks a little different, which is part of what I like about it.

My job is to keep the community running well — audits, marketing reports, renewals, notices, resident concerns, vendor coordination, and making sure the leasing side stays healthy. I take pride in the operational side of things and I'm always looking for a smarter way to do the work. That usually means Excel Power Query for reporting, AI-assisted VBA scripts to automate the repetitive stuff, and Power Automate flows to handle tasks that shouldn't require a human every single time.

Outside the office I play acoustic guitar in my church's worship band (10+ years), hit the golf course whenever I can — picked it up post-COVID and I'm sitting at an 8–10 handicap — and I played tennis competitively all the way through college. I also develop my own algorithmic trading strategies and stay close to whatever's new in tech and AI. I'm always trying to be on the bleeding edge of what's possible.

Built a Power Automate flow that tracks lease expirations and sends staged renewal outreach automatically — timed reminders at 120, 90, 60, and 30 days. Took a manual daily task off the team's plate and reduced missed notice windows.

Use Power Query to automate daily reporting tasks — pulling and transforming data exports, cleaning them up, and formatting the output so it's ready to use without manual copy-pasting every time. Takes repetitive data prep off the plate.

I use AI to help write and debug VBA macros that handle repetitive admin work — move-in/move-out summaries, delinquency flags, formatted reporting outputs. The logic is mine; AI helps close the gap between idea and working code faster than doing it from scratch every time.

Outside of work I write systematic trading strategies in Pine Script on TradingView — mostly index options (NDX/SPX). I backtest them rigorously before running live. Same mindset as building any other system: find a repeatable edge, test it, deploy it carefully.

Started building PCs as a kid who loved gaming and never stopped. Over 50 builds — personal rigs, office workstations, and high-end CAD machines. Hardware forces you to think in systems, understand trade-offs, and troubleshoot methodically. Still the most satisfying kind of debugging.
